These Terms and Conditions constitute an agreement between Atis Rental and each person who accesses our website, creates an account or books a vehicle. By using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms.
01 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Atis Rental website, mobile application or rental services, you agree to follow these Terms and Conditions and all applicable policies.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not create an account, make a booking or use our services.
02 Eligibility
To book and drive a vehicle through our platform, you must satisfy the eligibility requirements displayed during the booking process.
- You must be legally eligible to enter into a binding agreement.
- You must hold a valid driving licence suitable for the booked vehicle category.
- You must provide valid identity, address and driving documents when requested.
- You must meet the minimum age and driving-experience requirements applicable to the selected vehicle.
A booking may be refused or cancelled if the submitted information is incomplete, expired, incorrect or cannot be verified.
03 User Account and Information
You are responsible for providing accurate and current information while registering or booking a vehicle. You must keep your password, OTP and account access secure.
- Do not share your account, OTP or login credentials with another person.
- Inform us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
- You are responsible for activities and bookings made through your account unless reported as unauthorised.
- We may suspend an account involving fraud, misuse, false documents or repeated policy violations.
04 Vehicle Booking
A booking request is subject to vehicle availability, document verification, payment confirmation and acceptance by Atis Rental or the relevant vehicle provider.
Vehicle images are provided for reference. Where reasonably necessary, we may offer another vehicle from the same or a similar category. Any applicable price difference will be communicated before confirmation.
Your booking confirmation will show the selected vehicle, rental duration, pickup and return location, price and other applicable conditions.
05 Driving Licence and Documents
The renter must present the original documents requested during booking or vehicle pickup. Submitted documents may be verified before or at the time of delivery.
- Valid driving licence.
- Government-issued photo identity proof.
- Address proof, where required.
- Booking confirmation and payment details.
- Any additional KYC document displayed during booking.
The vehicle may not be handed over if the renter fails verification or if the licence does not permit operation of the booked vehicle.
06 Payment and Security Deposit
You agree to pay the rental charge, taxes, security deposit and any additional charges shown during checkout or applicable under these terms.
- Prices may vary based on vehicle, location, rental duration, demand and selected services.
- Payment must be completed using an available and authorised payment method.
- A refundable security deposit may be collected before the vehicle is handed over.
- The deposit may be adjusted against unpaid rent, damage, fines, fuel shortage, late return or other recoverable amounts.
- Any remaining refundable amount will be processed after the vehicle inspection and final billing.
07 Cancellation and Refund
Cancellation charges depend on how early the booking is cancelled, the booked vehicle and the cancellation policy displayed during checkout.
Payment gateway fees, completed services and other non-refundable charges may be deducted from the refund. Eligible refunds will be sent to the original payment method within the processing period communicated to you.
If we cancel a confirmed booking because the vehicle is unavailable, we may offer a suitable replacement, booking credit or refund of the eligible booking amount.
08 Permitted Use of the Vehicle
The vehicle must be used carefully, lawfully and only by an approved driver listed in the booking.
- Do not use the vehicle for racing, speed testing, stunts or any illegal activity.
- Do not drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any substance affecting safe driving.
- Do not sub-rent, sell, mortgage or transfer possession of the vehicle.
- Do not carry passengers or goods beyond the permitted capacity.
- Do not take the vehicle outside an approved area or across a restricted border without written permission.
- Smoking, commercial usage or transporting prohibited materials is not permitted.
09 Vehicle Pickup and Return
You must inspect the vehicle at pickup and notify our representative of any visible damage, fuel difference or missing item before starting the trip.
The vehicle must be returned at the agreed location, date and time, in substantially the same condition in which it was provided, subject to reasonable use.
A late return may result in hourly, daily or other additional charges. Contact support as early as possible if you need to request an extension.
10 Damage, Breakdown and Accident
In case of an accident, breakdown, theft or damage, stop using the vehicle where it is unsafe and contact our support team immediately.
- Do not arrange unauthorised repairs without our approval, except where necessary for immediate safety.
- Cooperate in providing photographs, location details, police reports and other requested information.
- The renter may be responsible for damage caused by negligence, misuse, policy violation or an unauthorised driver.
- Insurance or damage protection is subject to its exclusions, limits and applicable excess amount.
11 Fuel, Toll, Fine and Additional Charges
Unless specifically included in your booking, the renter is responsible for expenses incurred while using the vehicle.
- Fuel or charging expenses.
- Toll, parking and entry charges.
- Traffic challans and legal penalties.
- Late return or unauthorised extension charges.
- Excess cleaning or smoking charges.
- Loss of keys, documents, accessories or equipment.
- Damage not covered under applicable protection.
Charges received after the rental period, including traffic fines or toll notices, may be recovered from the renter after the booking has been completed.
12 Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Atis Rental will not be responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from delays, vehicle unavailability, third-party services or improper use of the vehicle.
Nothing in these terms excludes a right or liability that cannot legally be excluded. Each party remains responsible for losses caused by its own fraud, negligence or wilful misconduct as determined under applicable law.
13 Privacy and Personal Information
We may collect and process account information, contact details, KYC documents, booking information, payment references, location details and vehicle usage data for service delivery, safety, verification and legal purposes.
The collection and handling of personal information are also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review that policy before using the platform.
14 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions when our services, operational requirements or applicable rules change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
Your continued use of the service after an update will indicate acceptance of the revised terms, where permitted by applicable law.
15 Governing Law and Contact
These terms will be governed by the applicable laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer rights and dispute resolution requirements, disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
